"Before working with Rashidat I had a habit of making 'loosely sculpted goals' and the things I read about how she helped her clients create structure and systems to create and accomplish their goals was exactly what I was looking for and needed. Now I have focus, and the ability to deal with the fires that happen in the week without getting off track and I'm so much better at getting the RIGHT thing done.
The way Rashidat describes goal making and it being in far more areas of my life than I had ever kind of thought...
Personal life and work - that's kind of the limitation that I had for myself, but she really blew that like out and expanded it in really nice ways that allowed me to start thinking a lot differently, a lot more authentically, I think, because when you really want to improve in an area, you do need to take into account other things that are happening in your life.
So I think it gave me just a much better scope of everything that's going on and creates a really more profound structure to goal making.
[From loosely sculpted goals, inconsistent projects in her business, and not being able to help financially - to - getting clear on the systems she needed in her life and biz, increasing her prices, getting larger projects, partnering with other artists, & interviewing to hire: less busy work, more life and time to do her passion TO CREATE!]

to being 'on' all the time, and
overextending your responsibility to keep everyone else afloat because they're the repeat patterns that keep you burnt out.
You're motivated to shift how you show up for yourself at work and in relationships to put yourself first.
You're tired of trying to find the perfect career, company, or business to stop your workaholic tendencies. You realize it's YOU that needs to change. You're craving zero BS, healing and a vibrant (and highly experienced) coach focused in guiding Black women who inherently understands your experience because I've lived it, too.
You're not willing or ready to ditch old patterns that justify your workaholic tendencies and pursuit of Black excellence
You're still attached to work-harder-to-succeed fantasies
Working to avoid dealing with fact that you don't know how to take care of yourself anymore
Trying to climb the corporate ladder or

You have no interest in understanding your true self and living life on your own terms
A: I know that the term "soft life" is defined a few different ways across the interwebs, so I usually name the life we're creating as a work less, live more lifestyle and here's what that looks like to me...
You get to make a choice of what you want your life to be about rather than just taking whatever you get.
It's a life where you don't have to armor up all the time.
It's a life where you don't have to be 'on' all the time
Choosing to ditch the pressure of capitalism to succeed, achieve Black excellence, or prove your worth
It's a life you're not trying to escape when you go on vacation and instead vacation life, travel and whatever else you love is just a part of life!
It's building a life where you're enough and can show up in your strengths and thrive!
A: First and foremost, work + work ≠ freedom, but I'm also not saying don't work hard. Instead, I'm saying don't make your work your identity. Don't let it define you; There's so much more to you than that! Don't just work hard. Make time to play hard, laugh hard, rest hard, and all the things you love - go hard on them, too!
A: I affectionately call us workaholics because we've been bred to believe work will solve all our problems. And that has made work our go-to when actually we should be resting.
That being said, I work with workaholics because she's me. From a child I've been taught to be a workaholic and constantly rewarded for it. I was a workaholic student, a workaholic corporate professional, a workaholic entrepreneur, and I'm a strong Black woman until I made the switch to redefine who I am without work as the core. I work with this market because I've lived the struggles so I share the changes I've made and how it's changed my life because I now know what it feels like to be free and I want to other Black women feel that, too.
A: I like to help people who are at the point where they know they need a change and have tried some other things that just have NOT worked and need a way to get unstuck. The golden ticket for me at that moment in my adventure was to stop making work the most important thing and redefine success for myself, but most people have a hard time dreaming of what their new life could be when they've been stuck for so long. The secret sauce of Meant for More is making the process of redefining success simple, fun empowering, and encouraging.
